A Mindful Beginning to a New Year
Have you ever driven your car somewhere and arrived at your destination only to realize you remember nothing about your journey? Or started eating a packet of chips and then suddenly noticed all you had left in your hands was an empty packet? Most of us have!
Mindfulness, the act of being present and paying attention, can help you feel less stressed and more alive. We will practice a few simple techniques for meditating or being present. Using simple tools like: gentle movement, breathing practices, walking and even mindful eating, you will begin to realize how powerful this practice is.
No experience is necessary. All are welcome into this healthy, non-judgmental practice.
