Online information is getting thrown at us faster and in larger quantities more than ever.  The average American adult not only gets most if not all their news through social media but also is checking their phone up to 80 times a day.  Knowing what to look out for in real or fake news stories is the basic media literacy.

In this 1 hour course, we will explore what it means when we hear the term "fake news", what to look for when reading headlines and articles on our social media accounts and ways to become a better-informed consumer in the stressful news environment we live today.
