Ages: 6-12 yrs.

Travel around the world with this series of STEM challenges. With STEM educator, Stephanie Miles, participants will learn about boomerangs, a popular toy in Australia. They will then use the engineering design process to create boomerangs while exploring factors that affect the flight of the boomerangs, including number of wings, materials used, and angle of throw. Participants will have the opportunity to test out their boomerangs, weather permitting.
