Live Irish Music and Dance with Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble (All Ages)

All ages! This event will be held at the Kennard African American Cultural Heritage Center at 410 Little Kidwell Ave in Centreville
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day and Irish-American Heritage Month by enjoying a live Irish-American Dance performance and participatory dance!
Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble will present traditional Irish dance accompanied by live Irish music and some of the descendant American forms of music and dance in an engaging and lively performance followed by a called Irish social dance or Ceili. No dance talent or experience are necessary and all ages are invited to participate as Footworks dancers lead participants through simple walking motions in traditional Irish set dances.
Footworks is celebrating 45 years as a professional company, performing for theaters and festivals internationally, and performing and educating for schools and libraries.
