Ages: 7+ yrs, teen and adults welcome.

In this standalone program, participants will watch and learn as an instructor from Cardamom & Clove Henna prepares fresh, natural henna paste to create safe, temporary body art designs and hear a brief overview about the history of henna.  After preparing a batch of paste, participants are invited to create a tool called a "henna cone,” and create safe, temporary body art designs on paper while professional design application is demonstrated by the instructor on a volunteer. Participants will finish the workshop with extra paste -- plenty to create with for weeks to come! This is a wonderful chance to celebrate Arab American Heritage Month while expressing your creativity in a fun, hands-on way.
