Event box
Ages: 11-17 years.
Have you ever wanted to try ceramic hand-building? Join us for a class to create appetizer trays with a built-in dipping compartment. Great for chips and dip, sushi, dumplings, or whatever you can imagine! Clay, instruction and tools provided. The start time is somewhat flexible to accommodate travel after school. Participants should arrive before 3:30 pm to complete project.
The trays will be taken by the instructor to dry, glaze, and fire, then will be returned to the library within 4-5 weeks for pickup.
This program is limited to the first 15 participants. At least 2 spots will be held to accommodate later dismissal times.
Presented by Laquel Nenno, of Art by Laquel. This event has been funded in part by the Queen Anne's County Arts Council, the Maryland State Arts Council, and Friends of QAC Library.
