Container Gardens for Fall

Event box

As the heat of summer fades, container gardens provide a fresh opportunity to extend color, texture, and even food production into the cooler months. In this class, we will explore a variety of cool-season plants that perform well in containers, along with best practices for design, planting, and care. Special attention will be given to maintaining healthy containers as temperatures drop, including watering, fertilization, and strategies for protecting plants from frost and cold stress as we transition from late fall into winter.
