From the late 1800s through the 1940s, Christmas on Kent Island was simple, but magical. Join Mrs. Linda Collier, board member of the Kent Island Heritage Society and curator of the Kirwan House and Museum, as she presents some holiday memories of how Kent Islanders celebrated Christmas in days of old. Highlights of the talk will include Christmas items from the Kirwan Store that were available to often land-locked islanders of that period. Cookies, punch and holiday wassail will be served.
