Ages 6-12.

Join Stephanie Wishart to learn how birds structure their nests.  Use the engineering design process to create bird's nests. Children will need to go on a short nature walk to collect twigs, grass, leaves, weeds, flowers and other items that they will use to create their bird nest.

When registering for this event please indicate which library branch, Centreville or Kent Island, you prefer to pick up your kit from. You will be notified when your kit is ready for pickup at your requested branch. All kits will be ready for pickup by the program date, during Library Express hours. Video tutorials will be posted to the Queen Anne’s County Library Facebook and YouTube channels the morning of the program event. Each kit will also contain a printed instruction sheet with directions on finding the video tutorials. Questions?
