Learn to Play the Ukulele in Three Easy Lessons.

Ages 6-12.

*Registration required. One ukulele per family.

Join musicians Suzanne Sanders and Jonathan Williams to learn how to hold, strum and play the ukulele. Your reservation will reserve one of the Library’s ukuleles for you to use at home for two weeks while you watch three instructor videos and learn to play a song. Many who have taken these lessons go on to purchase their own ukuleles. You may keep the booklet of songs.

This event has been funded in part by the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council, Maryland State Arts Council and Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library.

When registering for this event please indicate which Library Branch you will pick up your ukulele during Library Express hours. Check https://www.qaclibrary.org/ for current hours. Video tutorials will be posted to the Queen Anne’s County Library channel. If you have any questions, please call the library at 410-758-0980 (Centreville) or 410-643-8161 (Kent Island). You may drop your ukulele off at any branch during Library Express hours. Please DO NOT place ukuleles in the Book Drop.
