Age: 7- 10 years.  Ever wanted to adopt a tree? Now’s your chance to adopt one in your own backyard! This kit includes an adoption certificate to complete with information about your tree, materials to measure its circumference and height, identify the species, create a bark and leaf rubbing, and clay to make a face for your tree. Also enjoy creating a necklace from a tree “cookie!”

When registering for this event please indicate which library branch, Centreville or Kent Island, you prefer to pick your kit up from. You will be notified when your kit is ready for pickup at your requested branch.  All kits will be ready for pickup by the program date.  Each kit will also contain a printed instruction sheet with directions on finding the video tutorials.
