What makes a bird a bird?  For one, they are the only animals with feathers!  In this kit we will investigate feathers, go on a bird scavenger hunt, make a pine cone bird feeder, and create a sketch of a brand new species of birds.  After completing this kit, you'll be ready to enjoy watching the birds on their migration south this Fall. This event is funded by the Sinsky-Kresser-Racusin Memorial Fund.

When registering for this event please indicate which library branch, Centreville or Kent Island, you prefer to pick your kit up from. You will be notified when your kit is ready for pickup at your requested branch.  All kits will be ready for pickup by the program date.  Each kit will also contain a printed instruction sheet with directions on finding the video tutorials. If you have any questions, please call the library at 410-758-0980 or 410-643-8161 or email us at info@qaclibrary.org.
