Take Home Kit: Braided Danish Christmas Hearts
Event box
Learn how to make traditional braided Danish Christmas hearts. Use the hearts to decorate your tree, window or give as a present. The story goes that the first hearts were made by Danish Fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen in the 1860s (The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen). You will receive instructions and supplies to make a standard design plus two more elaborate designs. More designs can easily be found online.
Email info@qaclibrary.org a photo of your finished heart to be entered into a drawing of a Hans Christian Anderson Fairytale book by Thursday, January 6, 2022.
