For Seniors 55+ and better.  Individuals with cognitive memory loss are welcome.

In this 6-part class, students will work virtually with Teaching Artist Constance Mattox learning and applying principles of art to a variety of projects, culminating in an in-person event.

Creating mixed media is all about breaking the boundaries between different art forms.  Participants learn how to use different materials and tools to engage in the creative process of making an art journal/sketchbook, creating a collage, an assemblage, mix up a phtograph and evaluate their own ideas (personal stories) to improve creative efforts.

Each student will be provided with all the materials ahead of the start of the class and instructions for joining the session online.  The class will meet weekly online over zoom, students should plan to join in each session.

Please send any special accommodation requests to andrea@qaclibrary.org.
