DESCRIPTION:All ages!  Celebrate St. Patrick's Day and Irish-American 
 Heritage Month by enjoying a live Irish-American Dance performance and 
 participatory dance!\n\nFootworks Percussive Dance Ensemble will present 
 traditional Irish dance accompanied by live Irish music and some of the 
 descendant American forms of music and dance in an engaging and lively 
 performance followed by a called Irish social dance or Ceili. No dance 
 talent or experience are necessary and all ages are invited to participate 
 as Footworks dancers lead participants through simple walking motions in 
 traditional Irish set dances. \n\nFootworks is celebrating 47 years as a 
 professional company\, performing for theaters and festivals 
 internationally\, and performing and educating for schools and 
 libraries.\n\nThis event has been funded in part by the Queen Anne’s 
 County Arts Council\, Maryland State Arts Council\, and Friends of Queen 
 Anne’s Library.
